Kõrvemaa has more snow cover in winter than the coastal areas, offering a variety of opportunities for winter sports enthusiasts as well as winter holidaymakers

You can go cross-country skiing along the 1 km track around the lake or on the President’s hike: 3 km towards Aegviidu and 4 km towards Jäneda. We also have numerous sledding slopes – big, small and in-between – something for everyone.

Weather permitting, a skating rink will be set up on the frozen lake in winter. Natural ice is, of course, not as perfectly smooth as in an ice rink, but you get to fill your lungs with fresh forest air. After having fun outside, head to the pub to treat yourself to a hearty steak or some warm tea and dessert.
